They don’t cut it. To truly modernize a C5, you need a wheel setup that reflects its capability.

Before you buy, you must understand the specs. The C5 uses a 5x120.65mm (5x4.75”) bolt pattern. While some enthusiasts try to squeeze 5x120 wheels onto the hubs, we don’t recommend it. Precision matters.
The C5 is sensitive to offset. Run too low an offset, and your tires will poke past the fenders, ruining the sleek lines of the car and risking paint damage. Run too high, and you’ll rub against the inner liners or the suspension components. The goal is a flush fitment that maximizes tire width without compromising the bodywork.
FORGESTAR: THE STREET AND TRACK DOMINATOR
If your C5 spends its time carving canyons or hitting local meets, Forgestar is the gold standard. Utilizing Rotary Forged (flow-formed) technology, Forgestar wheels offer a strength-to-weight ratio that rivals high-end fully forged wheels at a fraction of the cost.
SELECT THE FORGESTAR F14
The F14 is the most iconic wheel in the Forgestar lineup for a reason. Its mesh design is timeless and provides massive clearance for aftermarket big brake kits. For the C5, we recommend an 18/19 staggered setup.

WELD RACING: THE DRAG STRIP ESSENTIAL
When the goal is a 60-foot time rather than a lap time, you switch to Weld. Weld Racing wheels are engineered for one thing: winning at the drag strip. A "Drag Pack" consists of thin "front runners" to reduce rolling resistance and wide rear wheels designed to hold a high-sidewall slick or radial.
SELECT THE WELD RT-S S71
The RT-S S71 is the ultimate choice for a street/strip C5. It features a 3-piece forged construction that is incredibly light and NHRA-certified.
- Front Runners: 17x4 or 18x5. These clear the stock C5 brakes without spacers, providing a narrow footprint that slices through the air.
- Rear Traction: 15x10 or 17x11.
Note on 15-inch Fitment: To run a 15-inch rear wheel on a C5 for maximum sidewall, you will need to perform a "15-inch conversion." This typically involves changing the rear control arms or grinding the brake calipers. If you want a bolt-on solution, stick with a 17x11 rear.
BUILD FOR TRACTION: BEADLOCKS
If you are pushing north of 600 horsepower, you need beadlocks. Weld offers the S71 and Laguna styles with functional beadlock rings. This prevents the tire from spinning on the rim during high-torque launches, ensuring every bit of power translates into forward momentum.
